Willem-Albert Bol started his career in 1998 on the media side at VNU / Sanoma. There he was, among other things, B-to-B marketer for men’s magazines. He later moved to the agency side at TBWA \ where he was Connections Director. He then worked on the advertiser’s side for over six years as Vodafone’s media manager. Since 2014 he has been back in the media, where he worked at the Persgroep Nederland, now known as DPG Media. It’s his third position within the company, having previously worked as Manager Marketing Advertising and Creative Director for MediaLab. As of September 2019, he is Director of Business Development. In this new role, he keeps the outside focus of the company. The goal is to stimulate clients, other media owners and agencies to join forces. To create large scale, structural and high impact cooperations. In addition to his job, he is very active in the communication profession. He is a popular speaker, columnist, board member (GVR / IAB / MWG) and member of professional juries (EFFIE, AMMA, Sponsorring, SAN).
